| The Indiana Vocational Technical College (Ivy Tech) is Indiana's third largest state-supported college/university, offering professional and technical courses from thirteen regional campuses. Ivy Tech, Region 4, is based in Lafayette and serves the Greater Lafayette and its county (Tippecanoe) and the surrounding seven counties. The Lafayette schools have also received the Blue Ribbon National School

Greater Lafayette's public school system offers challenging curriculum, multi-age classrooms, and extended calendar options. Greater Lafayette Area Services, a joint program of the three public school
systems that offers services beyond everyday classroom experiences. The Greater Lafayette area also has a selection of private schools and several religion-based institutions that provide more educational options. Purdue University and local industries attract people from around the world.
